I find the rum doesn't gain from the Armagnac finish. Not quite my thing.

Very fresh smell. At the beginning yoy can distinguish armagnac fluence, body is sweeter, but weak. Aftertaste is very weak. Taste is woody, yellow fruits (weak), agricole, flowers. It is complex, but there is nothing special in this rhum.

Rum tasted blind, easy to read but I wouldn't have been able to identify it. However, you can easily feel the young age, the Martinique origin, and the marking of grape alcohol. One of the rums most faithful taste-wise to its method of production, which for me is a great quality.

An excellent rum for its age. Reminds me a lot of the old Sajous Caroni cask with the acidic side of the fruit much less and a nice woody side. Very good work.

Ein fortschnittlied ist themes like a rather fresh and wet Armagnac cask, and it doesn't really feels like an exciting one, the Armagnac feels like an off node on a rather too young st. James. Disappointing because I really wanted it to be better
