Chairman‘s Reserve Master’s Selection (Kratochvilovci) 2007
People who already love St. Lucia's medicinal, herbal side will find a lot here: tropical fruit and vanilla on the nose, then a dry palate full of menthol, charred wood, tobacco and leather. Reviewers note how gentle it drinks for 57.4%, "like good medicine to your soul." One taster mistook it for Trinidad — the mint can dominate. A finish a couple felt ends too soon.
- Menthol freshness
- Drinks gentle
- Tobacco and leather

How does Chairman‘s Reserve Master’s Selection (Kratochvilovci) 2007 taste?
Aggregated from 34 community reviews.
Dry, medicinal St. Lucia with menthol and wood Most find this a characterful, well-integrated St. Lucia with menthol, wood and tobacco, drinking softer than its strength. A few wish for more depth, and the medicinal mint isn't for everyone.

Keine Ahnung, ob Sikula mir hier den richtigen abgefüllt hat. Keinenfalls ist er für mich als St. Lucia erkennbar, sondern eher als Trinidad. Minze überragt hier leider alles. Mir gefällt dieser Rum ")

8,7:On the nose, tropical fruits like passion fruit and banana, guava, coconut, citrus and yellow fruits, charred, smoky wood notes with butterscotch, glue and baking spices, vanilla and anise, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, raisins, dried apricots and mango come out, sweet pastry and gingerbread, dairy notes and tannins. 8,5:On the palate, the attack is slightly funky and dirty, the wood is burnt/charred, smoky with leather, roasted nuts and caramel, spicy, quickly tannic, pairing various fruits like dried apricots, passion fruit and citrus, later prunes and banana, earthy molasses with tobacco, cigar smoke, flowery and herbaceous, when well oxidized, fresh with tea, sweet with pastry, slightly metallic, medicinal. 8,4:The finish is rather long, dry&tannic, the wood is still charred, spicy, the molasses is sweet with honey, earthy with tobacco, cigar smoke and the fruits are dried, citrus and yellow...

The taste is full, integrated, grass and mint and sour. Perfectly made rum. Unfortunately I dont like the taste

Love these private bottlings. Aroma is quite gantle, sweet (vanilla) with hint of tropical fruits and some medicinal tones. I found some praline like scent and wood/smoke-ish scents. Taste is again very gentle what is interesting to me when I consider the voltage of 57,4%. I noticed lot of medicinal flavor, combination of wood, tabacco, fruit and spice. Finish is not lomg enough in my opinion and most dominant flavor for me was honey. I am not a huge fan of Chairman’s Reserve but this bottling is very nice. It is like good mesicine to your soul. Try it if you have a chance
