Nicht wie sonst andere unter dem Namen Elexir firmierende Rum. Süß aber nicht zu viel, viel Fruchtnoten dabei und Vanille, Kokos. Bin wirklich angetan, der Abgang fällt für den Geschmack fast zu kurz aus.

An der Nase sehr fruchtig und allerlei Zuckeraromen, die man so kennt. Durch Zimt und andere Gewürze entsteht auch ein weihnachtliches Gefühl. Mega dickflüssig und süß im Mund, weshalb man hier von einem Likör sprechen muss.

7,5:The nose is quite sweet with scents of vanilla, butterscotch toffee and maple syrup all rising into the breezes. After the aering, oak spice pushes through the toffee sweetness, other sweet scents of candied oranges and canned apricots noticed. Coconut as well as some ripe banana finally appear as well. The scents and smells are enticing, although I am wondering how the overt sweetness will play itself out when the rum is tasted.... 6,5:On the palate, rum enters the mouth with a little bite of heated alcohol and wood spice. There is also an overt maple sweetness which is initially quite tasty; but which soon seems out of step with the structure of the rum. Notes of peppery oak spice, maple, honey and apricot jam with a touch of sour pineapple.When an ice cube added-whatta sin😈, allowing the dram to cool, the rum seems to find new life. I can now sip the spirit quite easily, and the cloying nature of the sweetness has abated. I am actually increasing the score a little now that I have found a suitable way to enjoy it. 6,5:The finish is full bodied, due to added sweetness.Sweet butterscotch and maple combined with oak and oak spice tasted. Baking spice and cinnamon linger also honeyed sweetness. This rum looses its appeal if it is sipped neat more than one glass, but it is my wife 's favourite 🙂...

Dieser Rum ist so süss, dass er eher nach Zuckerlikör als nach Rum schmeckt. Karamell, Vanille und Kokos verleihen ihm trotzdem eine interessante Note. Für meinen Geschmack aber zu süß und eher zum Dessert oder für's Backen geeignet.

Lovely sweet alcoholic spirit, lots of vanilla and coconut on the palate as well as nose. It is very sweet so I recommend this as a digestive. Since I love coconut this one is the one for me as a dessert.

Poslední batch No. 018 má o něco tmavší barvu, než minulé, chuť tohoto rumů je možná díky tomu plnější a hravější. Nenašel jsem nikde, jestli se nějak změnila i receptura, ale nová hlubší chuť tohoto sladkého rumového elixíru ještě lepší, než v minulosti.

Widerlich! Ein klebriger süsser schleim zieht sich die kehle hinunter, dessen einzige Nähe zum Rum durch eine alkoholische Schärfe herstellbar ist, die auf diese Zuckerlösung folgt. Bah Bah Bah!!! Ungenießbar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very sweet Rum. Great for beginners. I can one glass a night but not more, because it is so sweet. Smooth, round, sweet, caramel taste. Not spicy. Not alcoholic. Nice sweet nosing. Nice golden color. Sweetness comes from added sugar to be fair (says liqueur on the bottle). Might be great for desert with some vanilla ice.

Hodně sladký rum ze se alkoholovost hodně ztraci , v chuti hodně citrusy, med , vanilka , karamel, zajímavý nádech tropů. Na dlouhé pití je podle mne příliš sladký. Ale na chuť jako dezert dobrý 🙂
