Ein seltener Rum aus den 40ern. Eigentlich ist nichts bekannt über den Inhalt, die Herkunft, den ABV. Hab mir ein kleines Sample von der letzten HanseSpirit mitgenommen. Auf jeden Fall ist es ein Blend, auch etwas Agricole dabei? Und er hat wahrscheinlich 44%. Bin sehr gespannt: Nase: trotz der nur 44% ausreichend intensiv, ausgewogen und auch komplex. Der Blender fängt die feinen Aromen schön ein. Ich finde eine angenehme, leichte medizinische Note von Jod, gemischt mit intensivem Kirschjoghurt. Erinnert mich doch stark an die alten Courcelles. Hinzu kommen Honig und Sslz, was mich ein wenig an Rockley erinnert. Hinter diesen vordergründigen Aromen entdecke ich noch Frucht Richtung Apfel und Mandarine, sowie ganz dezent staubige, alte Holzdielen und irgendwie etwas Pflanzliches, Kräuteriges. Toll für solch einen alten Tropfen! 8,2 Gaumen: wie erwartet muss man hier schon feiner schmecken. Die 44% lassen den Rum doch recht dünn erscheinen, aber auch irgendwie elegant. Zu Beginn spitz salzig und leicht holzig-kräuterig. Da habe ich noch etwas Anis, Sesam und Kümmel. Im etwas kurzen Abgang wird er deutlich grasig, was auf einen Agricole-Anteil schließen lassen könnte. 7,6 Nase sehr schön, Gaumen leider zu dünn. Trotzdem toll, solche Rums probieren zu dürfen. 🤗
