Here's the surprise: this is a Jamaican with real funk, but it drinks sweet. Banana, pineapple and passion fruit up front, a whiff of glue and acetone underneath, then a syrupy, slightly oily body. One taster called it "too sweet, but still enjoyable." A few noted the alcohol isn't fully knit in, though the fruity, glue-laced finish wins people back.

From nose alone you can tell it is fruity Jamaican rum with sugar added. Tropical fruits, some funk, banana, pineapple, with a bit of chemical smell. Taste is pretty similar, but stronger. Chemical part goes to glue and esters. It is sweet and I think is too sweet, but still enjoyable. On finish fruits turn to candied fruits Nice sweet rum with Jamaican characteristic

Second to last rum for today. Here the T. Sonthi Jamaica. Definitely more Jamaica than the one from Haff Rum. Nice tropical fruits like banana and pineapple on the nose, on the palate also tropical fruits, but unfortunately a bit too sweet.

An interesting Jamaican nose with funky and overripe banana, a slight acetone note. The palate is not balanced, the alcohol is not very well integrated. First wood and glue, then the fruits arrive. The finish is beautiful with wood glue and lots of fruit. A very good quality/price ratio, a pity that the first palate is a bit messy.

Very generous rum. Sometimes a few ml are enough for 1 hour of pleasure. First inhale for minutes, then, as a highlight (shame on him who thinks badly of it!) swallow a few drops.
