For a discount store own rum, I don't think it's that bad at all. It goes well in cola, doesn't overwhelm, and is a perfect start for Jamaican rums. Also good for mixing. Conclusion: Very solid

I just picked it up when I went shopping for the week without any great expectations. It's actually halfway okay for beginners, Jamaica can be interpreted somehow.

Reserved taste, the smell borders on glue combined with fruit. Not a must-try. Probably good for mixing.

Color: White wine Smell: Typical Jamaica: Funky with esters (coconut, banana, pear, apple strudel). Solvent, floral, fruity, mild, round. Taste: Mostly sweet in the mouth. Mild and soft when swallowing with esters (solvent, fruity), vanilla, coconut and slightly alcoholic-spicy. Finish: Medium length The aromas (esters, vanilla, wood) slowly fade out. Remains pleasant. Conclusion: Surprisingly good drinkable cheap rum with good value for money, which cannot deny its origin from Jamaica.
