Review by Vincent D
Rich, concentrated nose. At once pastry, floral and fruity. A strange smell of rubber too. On the palate, the degrees are there but the alcohol is well integrated. Vanilla, fruit, glue, it's complex. Nice length. Slightly salty finish. Rather nice.
Review by cigares
A nose of dried fruit, vegetal rope, spices, pastry and light rubber. I don't find the complexity of the nose on the palate, as the alcohol quickly takes over. But there's also a hint of yellow fruit, vegetal rope and always a little pastry, especially on the finish, which is long on a mixture of wood and vegetal rope that's a little thin.
Review by Decky Hicks Doughty
The nose has heaps of eucalyptus throat sweets, raisins and cut up cubes of melon. There's also background notes of oak and some rubber mixed with a dash of barnyard funkiness. The palate reminds me of a plum brandy with lots of spice, oak and vanilla influence from it's cask. A touch of water wakes up red wine tannins. The finish is pretty long. Bit hits of sweetened tea and oak, warming and sweet. Would make a nice dram for during or after a meal. It feels very Australian with its eucalyptus and red wine notes and I like it. Possibly just a little to sharp in areas.

Nice apple scent but the taste was a bit no-no, just to dry and sharp what is not what I look for
