A very nice surprise that allows you to discover the Corsican terroir. Due to the fermentation process, you immediately sense on the nose the phenolic traces and overripe exotic fruits typical of Jamaican rums. Woody, spicy, and slightly roasted aromas take their place in the scene, accompanied by some floral hints. A very beautiful expression on the olfactory level. On the palate, the rum is ample and expressive, always carried by this atypical funk and floral and herbal notes. You also feel a trace of alcohol due to aging in Corsican wine casks. The whole is very balanced, coherent, and terribly easy to drink. The finish is quite long, slightly tannic and caramelized, heavily imbued with tropical fruits. The spices are also present to bring a bit of energy to a very specialized and atypical profile. A very aromatic and harmonious rum for its age, which can be drunk like milk. The quality/price ratio is really excellent.
