Review by Boletus
The high-quality sherry cask brings fine oak with spices, nougat notes and vanilla tobacco; dried fruits such as dates, raisins and a juicy fig wreath play along skillfully. In addition, there is a recognizably young spirit that reminds me of a rather heavy Guyana rum with its molasses and caramel base. A slight metallic cut in the mucous membranes tarnishes the pleasure a little, otherwise a nice sip with delicious oak spice and lots of potential. The aftertaste rewards the short ordeal.
