Edit: Very nice, The cane jumps out on the nose; vegetal but warm and slightly spicy On the palate the citrus is there but once again quite warm overall, this is clearly a strong-headed agricole!

La Perle Rare • 2022 Canne Roseau B59-92 – 54.1% • 2023 Canne Bleue B69-566 – 52.9% • 2023 Canne Rouge R579 – 54.2% La Perle Rare is the organic, single-parcel, single-varietal version of A1710. Three of the four references were present (only the Canne Cristalline was missing). For my part, I have a soft spot for the Canne Bleue, with that subtly iodized note that gives it a very unique touch.

Relaxing with a few samples after a stressful workday with some overtime. Nose: Fresh, fruits, citrus, sugarcane, flowery, light olive, light ginger. Palate: Oily, fresh, warm, citrus, sugarcane, light flowery, light olive, light salt, faint petrol, light grass. Finish: Medium to long, fresh, oily, citrus, sugarcane, light grass. Empty glass: Roses, light ginger, citrus, light olive.
