Most helpful positive review
A new edition of this HSE aged in white wine barrels. The finish seems less pronounced than the Marquis de Termes version. Here, the fruit is more delicate. Not necessarily my favorite, but as is often the case with HSE, the result is good.

Good Agricole, typical HSE, which already got a lot of wood influence for its young age. More on the woody-bitter side, less fruit or nut present. Quite intense for the low proof.

Vacation Caribbean September 2026. At the airport in Martinique, they actually set up a tasting of 5x HSE in the duty-free shop, where you could taste them for free. Very tasty, lots of wood and vanilla.

Very good rum, easy and light to drink. The sauternes finish is present but the finale is relatively short. I recommend it.
