Cassis, redcurrant and grape sit over the cane-juice base, with cinnamon, a light acidity and gentle tannins on the finish. Several tasters like the balance and the value; a couple wish it had more power and a softer, less tart finish. Blind, it barely reads as an agricole anymore.

Tasted at RhumFest 2024: On the nose, the usual woodiness of these vintages, vanilla and the grape flavors of the cask. Similar sensations on the palate. It's sweet and saves. Elegant woodiness. No real surprises here, but it's still very good.

Exciting agricole with a noble red wine finish. The red wine brings notes of cinnamon, fruit bread and lots of red berries like cassis and currants. Along with a light acidity and pleasant tannins. Could have a bit more power overall and the acidity in the finish could be a bit less dominant. Blind, hardly recognizable as an agricole anymore.
