#6654 13.04.2026 Enjoying a few samples after picking up my wife from work. Listening to Aurosonic, Charlotte de Witte and Lisa Gerrard on Spotify. Pretty OK release when looking at the price tag and it has a nice nougat touch. The nose is fresh with light wood, caramel, nougat, nutts, light coffee and a light metallic touch. The palate is oily and medium spicy with light roasted wood, nutts, caramel, light nougat, vegetal and light copper notes. The finish is long and light dry with wood, light coffee, caramel and light nutts.

Solid, wood with dark spices and a pleasant residual sweetness of caramel and dried berries. A bit too bitter for me, but undeniably a good rum.

"Rhum de la réunion rivière du mat 6 ans et plus. Un peu de peps, sympa ! Ce côté limite orange confite m’a plut. En resume, mes notes de degutation : Au nez : Herbacé, Canne à sucre En bouche : Zeste d'orange, Sucre brun La finale plutot orientee vers : Tanins, Sucre brun"

Fruity profile (banana, pineapple, orange) with a bit of ester. Alcohol not very well integrated giving a burnt side. Seems unbalanced.
