Rum Artesanal Burke's Seamaster Edition 2023
Newcomers to Spanish-style rum are the natural audience here: a rounded blend of well-aged Central and South American spirit with vanilla, roasted coconut, caramel and a quiet herbal note. Bottled at 49.2%, so it has some backbone without being hot. Several tasters call it a good gateway rum — pleasant and easy, if not especially exciting when sipped neat.

- Well-integrated ABV
- But: A bit one-dimensional

How does Rum Artesanal Burke's Seamaster Edition 2023 taste?
Aggregated from 35 community reviews.
Easy, coconut-vanilla Spanish-style entry blend Most people see a friendly, well-balanced entry-level Spanish blend — vanilla, coconut and light oak. The recurring catch: a touch flat and one-dimensional neat, with a slightly tart, bitter finish for some.

RumX Lotterie Juni 23, online RA Tasting.

Won this in the june lottery of RumX. Hee hee! Pretty cool set of Rum Artesanal. Nose: Like a good Spanish style rum. Caramel. Vanilla. Bourbon/American oak. Nothing outstanding but nice enough. Just a whiff of thyme/herbal-coughing syrop. Taste: more of the same. A tad sharp but that's okay. Roasted coconut. Lots of American Oak/Bourbon too. All in all not an unpleasant example of Spanish rum spirit. Unsweetened. A good gateway rum. The ABV gives it's quality a nice kick.

The taste is very greedy, like a fruity and milky candy, with cherries or strawberries. The peach takes me to more golden flavors as I move towards vanilla, coconut milk and sweet caramel. Then I find our fuller, more tropical and exotic fruitiness, which even gives me a touch of copper. The finish is pastry-like, caressed by almond milk and exotic stewed fruits. I would like to express my gratitude to Rum Artesanal for the flavor sets 🙏🏻

Review by HenryL
Einfacher, leckerer spanischer Blend. Flor de Cana in etwas spannender.

A very harmonious Spanish blend with high-quality, very old components. I really like the contrast with the 1st Seamaster. I'm curious to see how the series will develop in the future. Very fair price-performance ratio. Ideal for beginners.

70 points. Round, fruity with a little spice and wood and a touch of herbs. A decent entry level rum for beginners who don’t want to spend too much on their first bottles but not something that I need in my spirits shelf.

#4191 This one is more well rounded than the older Seamaster. Fruity with nice balanced spices and wood. There is a nice herbal note hidden in there as well. The empty glass has some herbs, light chocolate and coffee.

Top
Review by Fuwi
Review by Tschusikowsky
Stimmiger Blend. Alkohol gut integriert. Sehr ordentliches Produkt.

Review by Christian Rudt
Review by zabo
Review by machlo
General profile reminds me foursquare, but intensity and balance is so so, too tart and bitter in the finish.
Review by F.L.O.
Guter Mixer, mit einer ganz eigenen Note. Gibt nen abwechslungsreichen Daiquiri.
Review by Johannes
Ein gelungener Blend. Vielleicht zum Purtrinken etwas eindimensional.
