Nose Fresh, light wood, fruity, sweet, light chocolate, nutts, light caramel, orange, light polish. Palate Oily, round, naturally sweet, light wood, light roasted, light chocolate, nutts, light polish, mango, peppery, Finish Medium to long, oily, naturally sweet, light chocolate, medium peppery, banana, light wood. Empty glass Banana, light vanilla, ginger, light chocolate, cinnamon.

Dark brown Smell: Initially fruity with raisins and chocolate. Aromas of dried plums, damp musty wood, and sulfurous Oloroso sherry. Taste: Dry, bitter, and very woody in the mouth. This does not change when swallowing. Lots of sherry and some sulfur. Herbal cough syrup. Finish: Medium length Dry and very woody. Mild, sherry-heavy, and bitter herbal cough syrup with sulfur in the aftertaste.

Today a relaxed easy sipper. Balanced ratio between floral Agricole notes and the oloroso sherry finish. So the finish did the Agricole good. Not sweet, rather slightly musty-sour-smoky. Sounds worse than it tastes now 😉 It's not a burner, but it's not a failure either, just ideal for a weekday evening, no need to ponder it much. I like it! Nice pick of a previously unappreciated rhum.

Phew, somehow not bad but I find it way too sherry-heavy. Lots of dried fruit and quite a bit of bitterness as well as slight mustiness. Basically, the base product just gets lost through the sherry finish.

Very balanced, no edges, somewhat fruity, spicy, mixed with wood. Much sweeter on the nose than on the palate, the finish is rather dry and fruity.

Vintage 2008, in a sherry cask. With 8.1 out of 10, it's a very good bottle, though not the top of my ranking.
