Loads of flavor, but it should be better for the price

This is the older release and it's very different from the 30 year old. Less dry but still dry. Woody with nice fruits and spices and light coffee notes. Still intense and well balanced despite the ABV. The palate is also oily and the finish very long. Curtains and empty glass are amazing.

Relatively thin in taste but not uninteresting. Lots of molasses, coffee, wood, some fruit, sweetness, slightly alcoholic in the finish. I'm not sure if this rum is a bit sweetened. Overall, it's a bit too flat for me.
