Romdeluxe Travellers Wild Series Rum Origin No. 2 Belize Draw 5 2022
"Intense, fruity and fresh with a bit of funk" is how one member sums up this Belize Travellers draw, and that fits. Expect grass, herbs, citrus and a persistent fresh olive-brine note that some love and one taster admits he just "dont get." Almost mezcal-like for a couple of drinkers. Unaged, raw and dry — a long way from a caramel rum.
The community says- Bright fruit
- Good ABV integration
- But: Odd olive-brine note

How does Romdeluxe Travellers Wild Series Rum Origin No. 2 Belize Draw 5 2022 taste?
Aggregated from 31 community reviews.
Grassy, herbal Belize with an olive-brine twist Most rate the 5th draw well above the 1st — more power, better balance, more fruit. The recurring olive-brine and herbal edge splits people; a few find little payoff.

Riesiger Unterschied zum eben verkosten 1. Draw. Draw.
Review by SaibotZtar
Very surprising... clear difference to the 1st Drwa ... here you can taste and smell much fruitier, chocolate and some coconut.

This is the 5th draw so the last one before the tail. More up my alley as there is far more power in the flavours. Drier than the younger brother and really nice balance between the elements. Intense, fruity and fresh with a bit of funk in my mind. Very good ABV integration. The curtains are much lighter in this release.

Review by DomM
Very interesting to compare the two draws side by side. Last draw is much more fibriant with lots of fruit notes. First draw is much more closed up with some sweet notes and creamy mouth feel.
