Not a bad representative from Marie Galante, represents the classic profile. But unfortunately falls off a bit due to the dilution.

Very interesting, spicy nose. Rather atypical for Agricole. After some standing time, however, the typical sugar cane associations come out clearly. Lots of candied fruit on the palate and an herbaceous, dry spiciness. The alcohol is very well integrated and the dilution makes the rum nicely accessible.

Elegant Bielle with a balanced combination of floral notes, vanilla and light wood. Spicy oak, dried fruit and a hint of cinnamon characterize the palate. The alcohol is pleasantly integrated, the finish is rather short but clean. Overall, a classic Agricole full of character that presents itself well despite its simplicity.

A lovely, soft nose of sensual sweetness, spices and delicious fruit, with strong woody notes and aromatic herbs that scent the nostrils. Very fragrant and warm. The palate is very smooth, with honeyed, caramelized notes. The spices are warm, the floral fragrance fresh, and the cocoa, almond and woodiness unctuous. The fruit is more subdued. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is perhaps a little thinner, but prolongs the sweetness and mellowness of the mouth. There's a lovely structure between the floral, woody, sweet, fruity and spicy notes, it's coherent and complete. A very nice Bielle bottled by Velier.

RumX Rarities day 10. A sweet nose with herbs, flowers, lots of vanilla, spices and fruit. The palate is equally sweet, with vanilla, spices, herbs and flowers, wood and fruit. The finish is rather short, with a pleasant Chartreuse note. A good rum that doesn't hit the heights, but with great drinkability.

12.04.2014 Lanternen Kolding Nice relaxing evening with colleagues at this old bar, which is no more. Notes Light to medium dark colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, sweet, citrus, floral, honey, light glue. Palate Light, balanced, wood, roasted, floral, citrus, herbs, medium dry, vegetal. Finish Very long and dry, wood, tannins, light grass, citrus.

After the mega split by BananaJoe with these great Bielles, I have to say here that this bottling can't quite keep up. My conclusion is that it's good, but it simply lacks the special kick compared to the others.

The nose is very focused on candied fruits and glue. The nose is captivating with a nice freshness and a plethora of spices. The licorice note typical of Bielle is there but less present than usual. The nose is carried by a concentration all soft and honeyed. This nose is magical. On the palate, despite the 49%, it’s soft but intense in taste. The wood is present delicately. It’s fruity and pleasant. We get a nice vanilla-licorice length. It’s very harmonious and a worthy representative of what good and beautiful agricultural rums from the Antilles are.

Spices, citrus fruits, apricot, light herbal note. The longer it stands, the stronger the floral notes come through. Actually a round bottling, if it weren't for the dilution and the rather short finish.

In the nose definitely a sweet profile, herbs, fruit, spices. In the taste again sweet and very gentle profile, fruit and herbs. Unfortunately for me it's too gentle and round. It could handle a much higher ABV and it would be very nice.

Rum rarities #10! Big surprise, on the nose I didn’t expect an agricole but the somewhat Guyana profile pleased me, and well, a nice slap. It’s strong, complex but subtle. In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Brown sugar, Honeyed On the palate: Oak, Spicy, Dried fruits, Vegetal, Brown sugar, Delicious The finish rather oriented towards: Spices, Licorice, Woody

On the nose you immediately find the Bielle markers, I get candied fruits, with almond and spices (I would say pepper). There is also a very light floral side and an alcoholic base note. On the palate the wood and spices come out much more and slightly overpower the fruitiness. There are also citrus notes. It remains round with beautiful notes of vanilla appearing. The finish is long with a side both bitter and round, very puzzling. I think the bitterness felt is a citrus side we had in the mouth that persists during the finish and blends with a round side that takes over.

Very fruity, agricole. Juicy apples, some spices. On the palate again ripe apples, some yeast. Pleasant sweetness, very harmonious. Alcohol is super integrated. Some cinnamon. Tasty rhum, but not spectacular.
