Pas le temps de faire une note mais c’est très bon, très équilibré assez inattendu pour 49%, très bon.

Au nez on retrouve directement les marqueurs bielle, j’ai des fruits confits, avec de l’amande et des épices (poivre je dirais). Il y a aussi un côté floral très léger et un fond de nez alcoolique. En bouche le boisé et les épices ressortent beaucoup plus et prennent légèrement le dessus sur le fruité. On a des agrumes aussi. Ça reste rond avec des belles notes de vanille qui apparaissent. La finale est longue avec un côté à la fois amer et rond, très déroutant. Je pense que l’amertume ressenti c’est un côté agrumes qu’on avait en bouche qui persiste pendant la finale et qui se marie à un côté rond qui prend le dessus.

A lovely, soft nose of sensual sweetness, spices and delicious fruit, with strong woody notes and aromatic herbs that scent the nostrils. Very fragrant and warm. The palate is very smooth, with honeyed, caramelized notes. The spices are warm, the floral fragrance fresh, and the cocoa, almond and woodiness unctuous. The fruit is more subdued. The alcohol is very well integrated. The finish is perhaps a little thinner, but prolongs the sweetness and mellowness of the mouth. There's a lovely structure between the floral, woody, sweet, fruity and spicy notes, it's coherent and complete. A very nice Bielle bottled by Velier.

Le nez est très porté sur les fruits confits et la colle. Le nez est envouteur avec une belle fraicheur et des épices en pagailles. La note de réglisse propre à Bielle est là mais moins présentes que d’accoutumé. Le nez est porté par une concentration tout en douceur et mielleuse. Ce nez est magique. En bouche, malgré les 49%, c’est doux mais intense en gout. Le boisé est présent avec délicatesse. C’est fruité et agréable. On a droit à une belle longueur vanillée-réglisse. C’est très harmonieux et un digne représentant de ce que sont de bons et beaux rhums agricoles des Antilles.

Very fruity, agricole. Juicy apples, some spices. On the palate again ripe apples, some yeast. Pleasant sweetness, very harmonious. Alcohol is super integrated. Some cinnamon. Tasty rhum, but not spectacular.

12.04.2014 Lanternen Kolding Nice relaxing evening with colleagues at this old bar, which is no more. Notes Light to medium dark colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, sweet, citrus, floral, honey, light glue. Palate Light, balanced, wood, roasted, floral, citrus, herbs, medium dry, vegetal. Finish Very long and dry, wood, tannins, light grass, citrus.

"Rum rarities #10 ! Grosse surprise, au nez je ne pensais pas tomber sur un agricole mais le profil un peu guyana me plaisait, et bien, belle claque. C’est fort, complexe mais subtil. En resume, mes notes de degutation : Au nez : Cannelle, Muscade, Sucre brun, Mielleux En bouche : Chêne, Épicé, Fruits secs, Végétal, Sucre brun, Délicieux La finale plutot orientee vers : Épices, Réglisse, Boisé"

Not a bad representative from Marie Galante, represents the classic profile. But unfortunately falls off a bit due to the dilution.

RumX Rarities day 10. A sweet nose with herbs, flowers, lots of vanilla, spices and fruit. The palate is equally sweet, with vanilla, spices, herbs and flowers, wood and fruit. The finish is rather short, with a pleasant Chartreuse note. A good rum that doesn't hit the heights, but with great drinkability.

Gewürze, Zitrusfrüchte, Aprikose, leichte Kräuternote. Je länger er steht, desto stärker kommen florale Noten durch. Eigentlich eine Runde Abfüllung, wenn die Verdünnung und der recht kurze Abgang nicht wäre.
