Grays S.B.S Mauritius 2009
Highly praised for its rich red-fruit and wood-driven profile, great balance at 53.7% and impressive complexity, with only a few finding the licorice and tannins a bit dominant.
Fans of dry, wood-forward rums with loads of berries, cherries and licorice who enjoy cask-strength-style intensity without harsh alcohol burn.

Another rum from my new favorite distillery Grays. And this rum does not disappoint at all, the opposite is the case: he inspires (me)! Just look at the color of the rum in the bottle! 😍 Wonderfully dark, hard to believe in a rum from the year 2009. (Was there but helped?) Anyway, a very, very pleasant-balanced rum, deep, spicy, fruity, the for me identity-creating currant note may not be missing. Round thing, alcohol well integrated, acceptable PLV - recommendation especially for all who like to walk off the beaten path.
Auto-translatedThis brought me back to a place in Slovakia I used to live. Especially to berries I used to pick :) Currants, wild strawberries. If you told me this is the one and only drink I had to drink throughout my life, I would be pleased. Drunk but pleased.
