The La Mauny XO is slowly coming to an end and after the years it was in my stock it has become one of my daily favorite Agricoles. Not a highlight, but a solid basic Agricole.

As a summary I would say it’s an elegant and pleasant Agricole with a quite long finish that could compete with J.M XO to be a perfect introduction to the world of Agricole. The nose is fruity with aroma of vanilla. At the palate and during the rather long finish it’s elegant and pleasant with flavors of vanilla, fruits, spice and sugarcane.

A really good Agricole. The nose is full of aromas of vanilla, wood, and various spices. On the palate, the spices can be limited to pepper. But for the money, really a very good one.

Tasted together with a few other Agricoles from Martinique. All left to breathe in the glass for almost an hour. Nice nose, but the palate doesn't quite deliver what the nose promises. The 40% is not enough here.

This is one of those rums where people can agree to disagree. To me it's a nice rum with a nice bouquet and a balanced yet complex palate The finish is long a bit dry and intense at the same time. All in all a very nice Agricole that has a good price/quality.

Already when swirling, the rum emits its aroma, with a nice cognac note, accompanied by fruity and floral flavor profiles. The taste is characterized by spicy and floral flavor profiles with slight sharpness, the fruit is subtle in the background. The finish is dry, slightly sweet with floral flavor profiles. Can also be enjoyed well as an aperitif or digestive.

La Mauny XO rum is a good rum, easy to taste. On the nose, woody, spicy and fruity notes dominate. Then, these woody/spicy notes are found in the taste and in the finish which is medium to long.

Tasted at the rumfest so few tasting notes. Great product quality/price. Lots of indulgence and spices but all very well balanced. An excellent everyday Agricole 😁😇.

A nice, aromatic Agricole with great complexity, if I had more than a sample the bottle could definitely stay on the table longer... Great standard Agricole for in between, the sharpness here comes more from ginger than from alcohol 😁

Nose >>> Taste! Wonderfully fruity on the nose, with a sour note reminiscent of green apple and yellow fruits. On the palate more towards Agricole, woody-musty dry, plus a bit sour like citrus fruits. Unfortunately I like it less than I hoped when smelling. Still a good Agricole that impresses with its uniqueness.

It seems this type of Agricole is not for me, they are to woody which mutes the freshness of sugarcane I seek. It's good in its own way though, I suppose, not thin, has expression.

Der ist was für Schleckermäulchen. Im Näschen kitzelt der Zimt ganz fein, dazu kommt Apfel und Mango. Der Geschmack ist ebenfalls fruchtig. Im Abgang wird er trockener aber man muss sich schon konzentrieren wenn man noch etwas länger was davon haben will. Aber alles in allem mag ich das sehr gerne

데일리로 마시기 좋은 은은한 아그리콜. 다소 스모키하고 오일리한 뉘앙스가 특징적이다. 입문용으로도 괜찮고, 판매가를 생각한다면 오래 두고 마실만 하다. ---------------------------------------------- 향 : 삶은 잔디, 꽃꿀, 스모키, 흙향이 은은함. 맛 : 부드러움, 트루아보다 좀더 달다. 스모키, 오일리한 노트가 지배적이다. 잔디랑 흙을 섞어서 끓여낸 듯한 맛도 있음. 순하고 마시기 쉬우면서도 자극적이지 않고 가볍다 피니시 : 짧은 길이의 풀향 잔내, 스파이스는 거의 없다

A very soapy impression on the nose, quite persistent and surprising. You don't find it on the palate. A version a bit too diluted for me. But it remains a good rum that makes you want to step up in the house range. Also a bit expensive compared to other XO agricoles, I find.

an excellent rhum agricole. mainly focused on dried fruits and woods. I can smell loads of other things in there but the list would be too long. everything is incredibly well balanced. this rum isn't being too serious, drinking it is a real everyday pleasure. it's a complex product without being only accessible for advanced drinkers.

Very good, great value for money, the nose is very expressive and charming, the palate lacks a bit of body but holds up well for only 40%, and the finish is a bit short. A beautiful agricole that does everything you expect from it!
