As a summary I would say it’s an elegant and pleasant Agricole with a quite long finish that could compete with J.M XO to be a perfect introduction to the world of Agricole. The nose is fruity with aroma of vanilla. At the palate and during the rather long finish it’s elegant and pleasant with flavors of vanilla, fruits, spice and sugarcane.

Der La Mauny XO neigt sich langsam dem Ende und nach den Jahren, die er bei mir im Bestand war ist er zu einem meiner daily Lieblings-Agricoles geworden. Kein Highlight, aber ein grundsolide Agricole.

Ein richtig gutet Agricole. Die Nase ist jedenfalls voll von Aromen von Vanille, Holz und diversen Gewürzen. Am Gaumen kann man dann die Gewürze auf Pfeffer beschränken. Aber für das Geld echt ein wirklich gutes Teil.

This is one of those rums where people can agree to disagree. To me it's a nice rum with a nice bouquet and a balanced yet complex palate The finish is long a bit dry and intense at the same time. All in all a very nice Agricole that has a good price/quality.

Verkostet zusammen mit paar anderen Agricoles aus Martinique. Alle fast eine Stunde im Glas atmen lassen. Schöne Nase, der Gaumen hält aber nicht ganz was die Nase verspricht. Die 40% reichen hier nicht aus.

Schon beim einschränken verströmt der Rhum sein Aroma, mit einer schönen Cognac-Note, begleitet von fruchtigen und floralen Geschmacksprofilen. Der Geschmack ist geprägt von würzigen und floralen Geschmacksprofilen mit leichter Schärfe, die Frucht ist dezent im Hintergrund. Der Abgang ist trocken, leicht süßlich mit floralen Geschmacksprofilen. Kann man auch gut als Aperitif oder Digestive trinken.

It seems this type of Agricole is not for me, they are to woody which mutes the freshness of sugarcane I seek. It's good in its own way though, I suppose, not thin, has expression.

Ein schöner, aromatischer Agricole mit toller Komplexität, hätte ich jetzt mehr als ein Sample könnte die Flasche durchaus etwas länger auf dem Tisch stehen... Toller Standard Agricole für zwischendurch, Schärfe kommt hier eher von Ingwer als vom Alkohol 😁

Le rhum La Mauny XO est un bon rhum, facile à déguster. Au nez les notes boisées, épicées et fruitées dominent. Ensuite, on retrouve ces notes boisées / épicées au goût et en finale qui est moyenne à longue.

Gouté sur le rhumfest donc peu de notes de dégustation. Super produit qualité/prix. Beaucoup de gourmandise et d'épices mais le tout très bien équilibré. Un excellent Agricole "de tous les jours" 😁😇.
