#5034 07.01.2025 Enjoying some samples at home. Nose Fresh, medium intense, light varnish, light sour, faint apple, faint leather, light anise. Palate Medium intense, fresh, balanced, fruits, light grass, light sugarcane, light anise, light polish, light citrus. Finish Long and warm, fruits, oily, light melon, light grass, light citrus, balanced. The empty glass has nice licorice, light olive and a lemon grass like note.

A good white for tasting. Very fruity, with pear brandy, tropical fruit and fresh cane. Slightly floral and spicy. Good length on the palate.

An alembic nose, soft with coppery metal. A bold, invasive floral mouthfeel, with alcohol in a non-distracting second place. Good length, also floral. Particular and excellent in its particularity. EDIT: Tasted blind with Intemporel and Dekolaj, it takes 1st place by far! The nose immediately stands out, with the ripe banana typical of the alembic. This frank fruitiness is repeated on the palate, with added sweetness. The finish is medium-long, with good aroma returns. Truly distinctive and really good.

Exceptional white rum, big floral notes to be drunk without adding anything, to be enjoyed sip by sip, we are on the very essence of a white rum without artificial additions.
