Magnifique rhum, l alcool est parfaitement intégré. Puissant au départ puis long en bouche café tabac

A lovely old jamaican that is well worth searching out and trying. well integrated, I would not have guessed that it was 67.1%! Cool bottle label as well. I'm getting some acetone notes along with caramel and fruits. Woody with a long finish

Brings everything I expect from a 94 New Yarmouth. Dark chocolate, dried medjoul dates, overripe bananas and toffee, coconut chips and great oak notes. Very round, very mild, smooth and almost drinkable despite 67%!

Eine der schönsten Flaschen, richtig tolles Desgn. Dazu Corman Collins (Reputation) und NY 1994. Was will man mehr? Naturgemäß sehr kräftig. Da langen Jahre unter der tropischen Sonne Jamaikas resultieren in schöner Würze, jedoch kaum Holzigkeit. Chapeau.

Light acetone old noble wood brown sugar astonishing attack : it tightens the mucous membranes without burning and it develops on power and brown sugar !

Magnifique représentant de ce profil , énorme complexité et harmonie .Bien sur l'intégration est fragile sur le début de la dégustation. Mais après beaucoup d'agrumes et même un peu pâtissier.c'est à mon goût une merveille

A fine representative of New Yarmouth 94, with very well-integrated alcohol and complex aromas. We want more! The nose is fruity, with an elegant woodiness slightly covered by acetone. It's very gourmand, with hints of almond cake. The alcohol is perfectly integrated on the palate, with brown sugar and tropical fruit. The finish is long, still with almond cake and light oak. The empty glass is splendid, with complex, homogeneous aromas. The best of this rum.

Absolutely full of taste. And even mild compared to the abv. I like it!.

8,8:On the nose, the first impression we get is a very round rum with a toasted coconut, roasted wood with caramel, spice, milk chocolate and gingerbread. As we notice tropical and citrus fruits with pineapple, lemon peel. The molasses is a bit vegetal after airing the rum and some sandal wood is obvious. 8,8:On the palate, the attack is sweet, buttery and spicy with roasted wood, nuts, chocolate and toasted coconut. There are tropical and dried fruits. After resting the rum, the rum is syrupy with bourbon yellow and citrus fruits. The molasses is herbal, there is some clove. Very balanced. 8,8:The finish is long, woody with spices and roasted notes, creamy with caramel and milk chocolate, fruity with yellow fruits, becoming candied, banana, orange, perhaps orange peel. Shortly, balanced and delicious. Very consistent through the tasting.

Tried it again today against the new FRC For me, the FRC has the edge Another 94 New Yarmouth that I have now tasted. From memory, compared to the Insane 94 tasting, I would put this one in the good midfield. More on the creamy, chocolatey side. Nevertheless, the 94 NYs are all at a high level

Great New Yarmouth, more on the sweet side.

Super exciting and complex taste! Only the alcohol is quite present in the finish and could be better integrated. Long finish with alcoholic and slightly bitter notes.
Review by Jack M
Lovely complex rum. Whilst hot, the alcohol is well integrated and it is very smooth. The nose varies from pineapple to caramel to sandle wood to ginger. On the palate it more spice, nutty and coriander flavours. The finish is long and sweet and introduces a chocolate note.
Review by Jakob
A bit rough on the palate, which I would attribute to the high alcohol content on the one hand, and somewhat more extreme, tart spiciness on the other. Much pleasing, but in direct comparison no longer on par with the absolute top representatives of the vintage.
