Plantation Guyana is a rum that offers notes of molasses, spices, dried fruit, and a slight smoky touch. Thanks to double aging, where part of the time is spent in barrels from Irish whiskey Teeling, it gains softer vanilla and woody nuances. Balanced, complex, and interesting for connoisseurs who appreciate the combination of rum and whiskey.

Teeling whisky finish, single cask from 2022, which aged 13 years in the tropics in bourbon barrels, then almost two years in France in cognac barrels, and the last half year absorbed the finish from barrels of Irish single malt Teeling Whisky. The rum was bottled at 53.7% strength without coloring or sweetening. Martin Slezak is on a roll, third hit in a row, congratulations! #plantadvent2025

The main taste is mostly spicy and medicinal with a tone of whisky, and then goes over to a smoky and slightly woody finish. Pretty average to me, but definitely something to drink on a friday evening if you like whisky.
