Plantation Guyana (Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey Cask Finish) 2007
Ratings land around the high-7s, with most tasters calling this balanced and interesting more than showy. The Teeling whisky finish shows up gently — several note the woody, brown-sugar, chocolate and vanilla core with just a light smoky, medicinal edge. Review by Joel Söderlund
The main taste is mostly spicy and medicinal with a tone of whisky, and then goes over to a smoky and slightly woody finish. Pretty average to me, but definitely something to drink on a friday evening if you like whisky.
