Epic Velier Caroni Tasting: Nase und Gaumen nicht überzeugend, mehr dreckige Noten, Bitterkeit, viel Fasseinfluss. Dreckiger Abgang mit langen Bitternoten.

Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: Classic HTR profile, with sweet vanilla, caramel and dried fruit notes on the nose. On the palate, the sweetness is once again quite present, with typical Caroni HTR flavors and a fairly present bitterness on the finish. The alcohol is also not fully integrated. A great rum, but still only in the lower mid-range of the Velier Caronis.

Today we did a widespread tasting with very different rums. Phew, this one kicks a lot of different places. Had to add a little water after which it releases more flavours.
