Worthy Park Special Cask Series (Cognac Finish) 2011
Bright citrus and overripe banana up front, then it round palpalpalpalpalate that keeps the classic Worthy Park stamp — coconut, dark chocolate, vanilla — before oak and gentle tannins dry it finish. The cognac finish is there but restrained, more nutresse and dried apricot than loud. At 55% it's warm but well-behaved, and members keep calling it a textbook, balanced expression of the distillery.

Pleasantly balanced, subtle fresh fruit, heavy sweetness, tangy spicy and woody notes. A solid Worthy Park representative.
