Bright citrus and overripe banana up front, then it round palpalpalpalpalate that keeps the classic Worthy Park stamp — coconut, dark chocolate, vanilla — before oak and gentle tannins dry it finish. The cognac finish is there but restrained, more nutresse and dried apricot than loud. At 55% it's warm but well-behaved, and members keep calling it a textbook, balanced expression of the distillery.

8,7:On the nose, toasted oak notes like pastry, nuts, spicy allspice, vanilla, banana, grapes and citrus fruits, fermented, medicinal, creamy, grassy, floral, herbaceous molasses, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, dried apricot, raisins and coconut hints arise, roasted nuts and pastry, earthy molasses with tobacco, peppery, caramel and chocolate. Cognac barrel impact is obvious. 8,4:On the palate, the attack is intense with roasted oak notes like dark chocolate, caramelized, spicy allspice, creamy vanilla, fruits like banana, apple and citrus fruits, cognac barrel impact is obvious, dry, tannic, molasses is grassy, floral, herbaceous. When the rum is well rested, dried and red fruits arise, roasted nuts, pastry, peppery tones, medicinal and smoky touch, balanced and round. 8,5:The finish is medium long, dry&tannic, fruity with red, citrus and tropical fruits, fermented, dairy hints, molasses is earthy with tobacco, grassy and oak toasted with pastry, spicy with vanilla and allspice, smoky. #6215 10.01.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after a huge shopping round with my wife. Nose Medium intense, light wood, banana, overripe, light nutts, faint cognac, faint glue. Palate Round, balanced, light wood, faint roasted, light tannins, cherry, nutts, faint polish, light peach. Finish Long, light wood, faint smoke, banana, light cherry, light dry, faint copper. Empty glass light cherry, banana, light caramel, nutts, faint glue.

Awesome Worty Park, I really like it. Great nose, woody, spicy (vanilla) and coconut are also noticeable. On the palate, in addition to the ice, it is also rather sweet, with dark chocolate and vanilla noticeable.

Nice sipper with good balance of wood, spices and the typical Worthy Park banana, well complemented by the Cognac cask. Plus perfect alcohol integration. One of those bottles that at first glance don’t seem like a highlight, but then get surprisingly quickly finished. Which is somehow also a quality feature. At the local price an absolute bargain.
