The influence of the Calvados cask is recognizable, pleasant apple aromas join the Worthy Park profile, which is somewhat tamed in view of the drinking strength, as is to be expected. However, this is not at the expense of the fullness of flavor; the rum does not appear too watered down, but instead develops a pleasantly drinkable spectrum of aromas. A very appealing and multi-layered sipping rum.

#4110 A pretty decent release and in limited numbers. Fruity with nice wood and some spice. Needs to rest for a while to release all the flavours. Price to quality is OK.

Aging in Calvados casks is well suited to this rum, which has a fruity base and even hints of apple. The Calvados cask enhances these notes, leading to a pleasant evolution of caramel and woody notes.

Surprisingly good WP! Love the fruitiness and the calvados finish really suits the WP profile imo. Solid bottle and reasonably priced, I really enjoyed this one.

A 10-year-old Worthy Park aged in Bourbon and Calvados casks. You can feel the two influences alongside the funky framework on the nose: Calvados and green apple combine with exotic fruit and fermented notes, all tied together by very sweet vanilla. On the palate, the barrels continue to speak for themselves. The alcohol and tannins are more pronounced, but the sweetness of the fruit attenuates my power to offer something mellow and accessible. The finish, of decent length, incorporates the sweet spices of the Bourbon cask into its pattern to give an extra touch of greediness on the finish, where alcohol, banana and pineapple vie for the last word. A good finishing rum, but would benefit from a little more vivacity and character to be at its best.

Překvapivě dobrý worhy park. Calvados finish rumu rozhodně prospěl a udělal ho zajímavějším ve vůni i chuti. Ovocné tóny ozvláštněné jablečným projevem calvadosu. Cena odpovídá tomu co rum nabízí. Jednoduché celovečerní pítí.

La distillerie Worthy Park nous propose ce rhum de mélasse issu des légendaires alambics Double Retort Pot Still, et vieillit pendant 8 ans dans d’ex fûts de bourbon! Ils ont eu l’idée ensuite de le mettre 2 ans en fûts d’ex Calvados afin d’offrir une palette aromatique plus riche et plus original que les jus habituels! ▪️ Je trouve que ce finish permet d’adoucir ce rhum jamaïcain, la banane est présente, les fruits exotique aussi, mais tout est plus soyeux et acidulé! Une vanille douce et légèrement torréfiée vient ponctuer la dégustation avec des notes de tartes aux pommes bien gourmande sortant du four! ▪️ Un rhum facile d’accès pour découvrir ou profiter pleinement des rhums jamaïcains, les 45% ABV sont sympa et permette d’apprécier pleinement les différentes facette proposé! 😋
