#6196 06.01.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after work. Nose Fresh, sweet, light wood, light vanilla, caramel, polish, banana. Palate Oily, warm, light wood, intense, naturally sweet, banana, spice, light caramel, light polish. Finish Long and warm, oily, light wood, light salt, dried fruit, light caramel, light peppery. Empty glass Banana, vanilla, light caramel, light polish, light tea. Needs to rest for a good while to open up properly.

Fantastic rum. You first have to give it time to open up and then you are rewarded with great dark aromas, chocolate, coffee, some wood and a little fruit. Very tasty and the flavor of the nose continues consistently in the finish. It's a shame that it's not so easy to get hold of a bottle like this in Europe, but if you get the chance, you should make the most of it!
