Sipped neat, this drinks far softer than 57% has any right to — coconut and dark chocolate up front, a touch of dried date, a peppery, cinnamon-dusted finish. A few members note the alcohol isn't quite fully tucked in, and several call it rounder but less complex than the pure 2007 Foursquares. Still, one taster simply calls it "very easy to drink".

Beautifully heavy and extremely round foursquare. A well-made blend of the two vintages. Overall, however, a little weak on the chest and less complex than comparable vintages from 2007. Nevertheless, a delicious rum!

Quite a nice Spinge, but somehow expected more. Pleasant sweetness on the nose. We have coconut and dark chocolate here. Coconut and dark chocolate on the palate, as well as a rather pleasant sweetness.

Foursquare is a distillery from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday sipping. It's a rum especially appreciated by rum lovers who are fed up with sugar and looking for a smooth, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Simply pleasant and not aggressive flavors.
