This is a sweet rum without it being too sweet. It literally fills your mouth and like velvet on your tongue. The finish could be a bit longer but it will make you go for seconds.

The Angostura 1824 was the first rum I ever bought online. Must have been around 2013. It really convinced me back then and was hyped. Combined with the Angostura, I got really hooked and then bought more releases from Plantation. Compared to the successor XO, definitely the creamier, rounder one. Back then it was a hit, today probably too sweet.
