#7028 11.07.2026 Relaxing with some evening samples while watching "Song of the Samurai" A Japanese TV series. Pretty nice rum at a nice price tag (I get them straight from the island because a friend of mine travels there a few times a year). An intense profile with deep fruit, roasted wood, spices, sugarcane, herbs and grass.

Funnily enough I don't get any of the Madeira cask in this. This is I think what a good standard entry of engenhos do norte should be like god mixture of cask aging and good alcohol integration. I like it!
