#7076 23.07.2026 Relaxing with a few samples after a bit over 20 km of walking and 60 km on the bike today. Streaming a bit of Tomorrowland on Youtube. Pretty good rum with a nice price tag. Does very well in a Schweppes. Fresh and rounded profile with sucarcane, fruits, spice, mint and herbs.

This rum has a very fresh bright nose that is vegetal and green. The palate is light, peppery, slightly sweet, and a classic sugar cane taste. The finish is fairly short, but leaves a nice peppery warmth. I have really enjoyed using this as one of my rums in a Mai tai when paired with a molasses based rum.

Ein wenig besser als sein Bruder der (huihui). Aber immernoch fehlt mir hier ein eigenton. Er ist sehr sauber und sehr harmonisch aber dementsprechend auch sehr schnell weg. Für den Preis kriegt man leider bessere.

Overall, a relatively approachable agricole-style rum. The nose is fairly typical, with green, grassy notes and a hint of apple. The palate is smooth and buttery, while maintaining the fresh agricole attributes. The finish is short, with mild peppery notes.
