Ti-punch drinkers keep coming back to this one. It tastes like biting into fresh cane — grassy, lemony, peppery, with a fresh green vegetal edge. One taster even found it oddly "milchig/cremig" on the tongue. At 50% the alcohol shows; a few felt the heat wasn't fully tucked in, and one found it dry and sharp neat.

super smooth. physalis and mirabelle plum, lime and orange and the whole thing strangely milky/creamy as if there was some milk in it. great consistency and mouthfeel!

Blind tasting of Advent 2024: Meh.... Alcohol quite present, white pepper which I don't really like... A bit of lemon in the short finish. Well, it'll be in a tipunch.

Number 19 of the Advent calendar from La Route des Rhums. Again a white Agricole, which comes across very vegetal and floral. Sugarcane and citrus fruits can be recognized, also again Agricole.

#4975 15.12.2024 Enjoying some samples at home. Nose Fresh, sugarcane, light grass, light citrus, light plum, light vegetal. Palate Round, fresh, light oily, medium spicy, sugarcane, light vegetal, citrus, light dried fruit. Finish Medium to long, light oily, medium spicy, light vegetal, citrus, light prunes, sugarcane. The empty glass has light earthy and floral notes.

A rather decent agricole rum. On the nose and palate the aromas of sugarcane are well present. Tested neat the rum is fresh but for 50° the alcohol could be better integrated. It should still go well in a ti-punch.

A fresh Blanc without pronounced earthy or musty elements. Not overly complex, but clean and harmonious with well integrated alcohol. With mouth a bit sharper with some white pepper, otherwise a similar profile. A chlorophyllic bitterness is more evident here than on the nose.Was my first white Agricole and remains a good reference for me. In the Ti Punch, the lemony flavors come through the strongest.
