Georg Bestle Blended Jamaica Rhum
Curiosity seekers and collectors of oddities are the only real audience here. At a searing 80%, this old-style Jamaican reads more like flavored neutral alcohol than rum — a burst of glue and sawdust on the nose, a little vanilla, then a stinging spirit that flattens almost everything. Several tasters flag a distinct cheesy-feet off-note in the finish. A few drops of water coax out faint fruit, but not much.</snapshot> <parameter name="review">Most owners land on the same verdict: strong, harsh, and thin on flavor. One member sums it up as "not much going on taste wise" — worth trying once as a curiosity, not for pleasure.

A rum from the "Niki's und Arturs Jamaiksnische Aventurien Teil 2" series. Lots of alcohol on the nose, wood glue, sawdust. Nothing subtle here. The alcohol attacks hard on the palate and dominates almost everything. The finish is short and leaves a footy smell. With a little water, everything improves, and fruit notes even appear.

Review by Johannes

No bueno. Strong with not much going on taste wise.

Smells like an old bum buying cheap booze with trembling hands in front of you in the supermarket. Strong alcohol and urine smell. Then a few chemical notes in the taste. Probably intended as a baking ingredient. A terrible rum to drink.
Review by Frederic
There is still some vamille in the nose, but the off-note is already hidden behind it, which becomes apparent later. Tastes extremely like cheese feet. That's the only reason to give it a few points at all. Every rum drinker should try it :)
