Carribean Rum Shippers Ltd. Kingston Carib Sailer Rum
Overripe banana and old varnished wood on the nose, with citrus and a touch of light ester — a window into what Jamaican rum tasted like decades ago rather than the loud pot-still style you know today. Several tasters peg it as Clarendon: gentler and softer than a modern Appleton, with yellow fruit and spice on the palate. The catch is a short, faintly bitter finish that gives away caramel coloring.

Review by Jakob

Nicely balanced and lively profile. Only downside is a rather bitter finish hinting to some caramel coloring.

Vanille Karamell Zitrusfrüchte sogar leichte Ester riecht oxidiert. Erinnert an Clarendon. Am Gaumen deutlich langweiliger ... Sehr leicht etwas Vanille, Floral etwas grüner Pfeffer etwas muffig. Nase gefällig ... Gaumen eher nicht
