Skillful blend from several countries. On the nose fruity Jamaica as well as pleasant light wood tones. Reminds me of an Irish whiskey. Taste-wise round and finely balanced. Well integrated alcohol. For me a great sipper with not too heavy wood. Price-taste ratio is good.

So basically this one isn't that bad at all. It's very, very fruity on the nose and on the palate. I generally find that really awesome. I really like this rum.

Unlike the artificial Braasch Vanilla or Braasch Classic, the Great House is the first rum in the range that deserves the name rum. But still weak and fleeting on the nose with poorly integrated alcohol. On the palate a slight spiciness and weak wood. Unfortunately relatively bitter in the aftertaste again.

Actually not so bad, I'd be interested in this bottling at cask strength. Then it might really have something to offer, for me it's too watery and weak. The direction is definitely right.
