Piccadilly distilleries Camikara Cask Aged Rum 2009
Tropical fruit, passion fruit and honey lead the nose, which is where most tasters say this Indian cane-juice rum is at its best. The palate turns toward bitter orange, butterscotch and slightly green, unripe fruit. Several found the 12 years in India left less cask depth than expected, and at 50% it can read a touch thin and hot. Pleasant, but not unforgettable.
- Tropical fruit nose
- Honey and passion fruit
- Distinct cane-juice style

Fruity Indian agricole, nose better than palate Lovely fruity nose most people enjoy, but the bitter-orange turn and lighter-than-hoped cask influence leave several calling it pleasant yet a little forgettable.

What an Indian! Great tropical fruits. Mixed with spice. Almost not recognizable as Agricole at all. Nice product and highly recommended

In itself a tasty rum but at 94% Angels share and 12y maturation time in India I would have expected more barrel influence. Overall, unfortunately, somewhat trivial and I recognize here no special DNA...

Too much column style for me.

Interesting agricole, a pity the taste is shifted towards an orange bitter, which is weird and makes this rum not that enjoable
