#4136 Wow, this one has a very nice nose and palate. Intense in its own way. Lightly fruity with a lovely floral note and a spicy palate. The finish is very long and warm/spicy. Price to quality is very good.

A very good nose, bitter almond, fruity, very expressive and soft. The palate is unfortunately more neutral, also soft but only a few aromas come through, mainly sweetness, very pleasant silky fat. The finish is long on pleasant vegetal notes and this sweetness. An appreciable white especially on the nose then just soft on the palate. Tasted blind in SXM with the 4, I much prefer the 1, the 4 being more closed and rather suited for tipunch.

A nice well-structured Longueteau parcellaire, with red cane scents on the nose, accompanied by a beautiful freshness carried by citrus (lime). A soft and refined agricole profile. The attack on the palate is smooth and gentle. The herbal, earthy, and floral notes are not too overwhelming. The citrus remains present, but this time followed by a spicy touch of pepper that stimulates the palate. The alcohol is well integrated, but you might almost regret it’s not a bit stronger. The finish returns to this fresh, lemony, and spicy theme, slightly drier than the palate. A good premium white rum, rather sexy and elegant.

👃 Very green, quite lively. Lime zest, beach pebble / iodine. 👅 Silky attack, very round, then some pep (lime again?) and a rise. Finish a bit short, a pity.
