#6238 Relaxing with a few samples while watching The Mentalis on Max. Nose Light wood, light roasted, dried fruit, light caramel, light chocolate, cinnamon, citrus, faint pencil shavings. Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, raisin, light caramel, chocolate, medium spicy, light apricot, faint polish. Finish Long, medium dry, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, light peppery, citrus. Empty glass Cinnamon, raisin, chocolate, caramel, faint coconut, ginger.

A rum tasted at the Lucerne Rum and Gin Festival in 2024. The nose is not very inviting with sweetness (caramel) but also solvents, cardboard and dust. Fortunately, these defects do not appear on the palate. Light wood, caramel and spices. The finish is quite long but one-dimensional with wood and caramel. Only 65 bottles of this batch, but rarity does not equal quality and even if this rum is rather pleasant on the palate, its nose is quite off-putting.

Tasted at Versailles Pleasant rum. Alcohol well integrated for its ABV level characteristic Guyana. Price point of 80 euro's for a bottle seems good price quality wise.
