15.11.2019 Having a great tasting event at this old hotel meeting new people. Notes Light in colour. Nose Fresh, intense, light roasted wood, cherry, floral, faint chocolate, spice. Palate Intense, oily, fresh, ester, light ginger, floral, faint chocolate, light wood, spicy. Finish Medium to long, warm, spicy, light ginger, light banana, spice, faint tobacco.

Rums from the Savanna distillery are some of my favorites. I recommend everyone to try especially the more ester-heavy ones like Grand Arome or HERR. You haven't felt so much fruit in just a few drops of liquid for a long time.

Although I quite enjoy Savanna, unfortunately with this one I don't feel it has something that would lead me to seek it out again. Quite intense alcohol in the nose and finally in the finish, and during it a kind of strange bitterness emerges.
