Pleasant spiced. Lots of citrus fruits like orange plus some spices. I have to say I've had worse but also better spiced rums. So the price-performance ratio decides and I don't find it so good.

Shop visit Weinquelle Lühmann Hamburg April 2025. This spiced rum is a bit better than the previous one, not so wintry. On the nose mainly orange/orange peel, on the palate also (sweet) orange and a bit spicy.

Nice throthy head when mixed with coke . Good amount of spice , towards aniseed. Smoked flavor come through.

Le rhum épicé Ratu est à base de rhum fidjien vieilli pendant 5 ans en fûts de chêne, filtré au charbon de bois de noix de coco. Ses arômes de grillé et d'agrumes sont rejoints par un jeu de cannelle, de réglisse et de vanille douce, qui occupent toute la bouche. Nez: gourmand sur les épices, zeste d'orange. Bouche: des arômes d'agrumes, d'orange confite, de vanille et de chêne fumé. Finale: la chaleur de la cannelle, de l'anis et finir sur de la vanille.
