7,2:On the nose, there are esters, burnt rubber, slightly alcoholic, funky, tropical and dried, candied fruits, smoky, burnt wood notes like chocolate, confectionery, spicy, some iodine. 6,8:On the palate, the attack is synthetic, medicinal with iodine, intense, with burnt, smoky notes like bacon, bbq, nuts, caramel, spicy and salty, vegetal with basil, red bell peppers, as the fruits are dried, yellow. 6,7:The finish is medium long, medicinal with iodine, bitter, alcoholic, fruity with peaches, coconut, burnt, smoky with bacon, bbq, confectionery, lslightly spicy.

This Arrack isn't too bad either. A bit different from the previous two. Quite fruity on the nose, also slightly smoky. On the palate, very smoky, and for me, there's still pepper and rose-hot paprika detectable.

Once again an outstanding tasting superbly organized by Artur. Many thanks for the introduction to the world of Arra(c)k. The blends are truly a challenge for the taste buds. But what really surprised me was this BASF bottling. My deepest respect for the time and effort that is repeatedly put into it. A real honor to be able to participate in such tastings again and again.

Super unusual. The nose reminds me of a rather bad Barbados rum with chocolate, coconut, iodine ointment and bacon. Taste-wise then slight syrup notes unfortunately, complemented by super artificial crumbly peach iced tea with some iodine and plaster. Difficult and definitely not immediately recognizable as arrack😄

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting by Artur. Esters on the nose but rather soft, acidity, tropical fruits, yellow fruits, and apple. Fruits also on the palate, coconut and yellow fruits, peach in syrup. The finish is both bitter and sweet.

Arrac(k)-Tasting 2.0 by Artur. An exciting tasting journey with an impressive range of styles and profiles. From smoky to fruity to spicy everything was represented – partly a bit unbalanced, partly surprisingly round. Especially some bottlings showed a lot of character and depth and remained memorable. A format that is really fun. Thanks Artur for the opportunity! 😊

Arrack 2.0 @Artur: Salty, olive, iodine, peach, a bit musty. Full-bodied, alcohol well integrated. Reminds me a bit of a Navy Blend.
