Das wird doch langsam, mag die Zitrusnoten hier. Arra(c)k Attack 2.0 Tasting mit Artur einmal quer durch, von richtig fiesem Verschnitt bis zu erstaunlich guten Vertretern alles dabei. Tolle Reise zu dieser mir bis dato komplett unbekannten Spirituose.

This is also reasonably drinkable. Lots of lemon and lemon peel on the nose, solvents are also recognizable. Also lemon and lemon peel on the palate, some vanilla can be detected, but unfortunately also quite alcoholic again.

Arrac(k)-Tasting 2.0 von Artur. Eine spannende Tasting-Reise mit einer beeindruckenden Bandbreite an Stilen und Profilen. Von rauchig über fruchtig bis würzig war alles vertreten – teils etwas unausgewogen, teils überraschend rund. Besonders einige Abfüllungen zeigten viel Charakter und Tiefe und blieben im Gedächtnis. Ein Format, das richtig Spaß macht. Danke Artur für die Gelegenheit! 😊

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting by Artur. Varnish, butter and pear alcohol on the nose. The palate is diluted, alcoholic, buttery and fruity. Light oak, sweets but still neutral alcohol. The finish is short, but some aromas persist, fruit (grapes), butter, candy and light wood.

Total ungewöhnliche Aromatik nach Fichte, Piniennadeln, Rosmarin und Baumharz. Insgesamt relativ mild und nicht ganz so sprittig wie die vorherigen Arrack Verschnitte. Kann man trinken erinnert mich aber null an Arrack.😄

Wieder einmal ein überragendes Tasting das Artur super organisiert hat. Vielen Dank in die Einführung in die Welt des Arra(c)ks. Die Verschnitte sind schon eine wahre Herausforderung an die Geschmacksnerven. Wirklich überrascht hat mich aber diese BASF Abfüllung. Meinen tiefsten Respekt für die Zeit und Mühe die dort immer wieder reingesteckt wird. Eine wirkliche Ehre immer wieder bei solchen Tastings dabei sein zu dürfen.

"And again a really nice Verschnitt. This has some varnish but loads of sweetnes some freshness and a little rubber. Butteric acid for days and some pastry to set it of. Really nice Punsch too. Would buy again"
