Also ich finde diesen Arrac gar nicht mal so schlecht. In der Nase sehr stechend, vergoren und chemisch. Lösungsmittel sind auch erkennbar. Am Gaumen dann eher sehr rauchig, verbrannt und fleischig. Finde den Alkohol aber doch recht gut eingebunden.

Once again an outstanding tasting that Artur organized superbly. Many thanks for the introduction to the world of Arra(c)ks. The blends are truly a challenge for the taste buds. But what really surprised me was this BASF bottling. My deepest respect for the time and effort that is repeatedly put in there. A real honor to be able to participate in such tastings again and again.

7,6:On the nose, fermented, overripe tropical fruits, vinegar, alcoholic, dirty, chemical, solvents and petrol, smoky, nutty wood with cocoa, confectionery , spicy, hints of burnt rubber, vegetal, flowery notes, bump into our nosetrils. 6,2:On the palate, the attack is dirty, medicinal with burnt rubber, varnish, pungent with fermented fruits, vegetal notes, flowery, perfumed, a lot of bbq, meaty notes and bacon, salty, metallic patina, close to whisky, the wood brings vanilla, confectionery, sweetness. 6,3:The finish is medium long, dry, hot, burnt or charred, medicinal with rubber, plastic, there is some metallic patina, faint green fruits, vegetal, flowery notes.

Arra(c)k 2.0 tasting by Artur. An unpleasant, extreme nose of chemicals and sugar, strawberry candy and bitterness, wood and ferment, burnt tires. The palate is also very unpleasant, with additional smoky peat and bitterness. The burnt-tire aspect is more pronounced than on the nose. The finish is long, but with the same aroma. I find it very unpleasant, but I'll raise the score one point for its super originality.

Reminds me of Kölsch water mixed with gasoline and lots of burnt tires and plastic! 😄 The alcohol is relatively present and the overall flavor profile really doesn't appeal to me, sorry! 😄

Arrac(k)-Tasting 2.0 by Artur. An exciting tasting journey with an impressive range of styles and profiles. Everything from smoky to fruity to spicy was represented – sometimes a bit unbalanced, sometimes surprisingly round. Especially some bottlings showed a lot of character and depth and stayed memorable. A format that’s really fun. Thanks Artur for the opportunity! 😊

Burnt plastic, yuck. Arra(c)k Attack 2.0 tasting with Artur all over the place, from really nasty blends to surprisingly good representatives, everything included. Great journey to this spirit completely unknown to me until now.

Arrack 2.0 @Artur: Fruity on the nose, raspberry. On the palate intense smoky notes, like smoked, no peat, alcohol well integrated.
