23.12.2025 Have some of my old colleagues over for an EKTE tasting that I promissed a while back. This bottler is no more ans I am pretty sure that a few others will follow in 2026. ----------- This one carries a punch in the alcohol and I recommend adding some water because the alcohol has not integrated yet in this relatively young rum. But not bad at all.

Very rounded taste, and not that harsh despite the 60 % ABV, though it should rest for a bit. In the nose it has a high-ester feel. The notes I got was of fruit and wood, and the jamaican funk is present
