Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: Fass trifft Minze, prägnanter Fasseinfluss, dazu sehr präsente Minzaromen. Schönes Aromenspiel. HTR-Noten spielen eher untergeordnet mit. Sehr guter Caroni und typischer Vertreter aus dem 2000er Jahrgang.

#4852 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Wood, light roasted, light fruits, faint smoke, light medicinal, light petrol, faint citrus. Palate Medium intense, wood, light roasted, light citrus, fruits, light herbal, light medicinal faint honey, light earthy, light banana. Finish Medium to long, wood, faint smoke, light pineapple, spice, light herbal, faint mint. Not a bad release but the price tag is still out of this world 😊
