Zéro Nine Spirits Worthy Park Rhum Série Samouraï 2012
Sip it neat and you'll want a few drops of water — at 62.6% the heat runs hot and several tasters wished it had been dialed back to 50-55%. The nose is unmistakably Worthy Park: banana, yellow fruits, a bit of oak. On the palate a surprising burnt note shows up alongside spice. Lighter on esters than most Jamaicans, but honest fruit throughout.

Fruity Worthy Park, hot at full proof Well-liked as a fruity, softer-ester Worthy Park, but the alcohol divides people — some call it hot, a few find it slightly flat. Water helps.

Great Worthy Park.

Rather unusual profile for a WP. A very fruity WP nose, without a doubt. It's on the palate that the profile changes, with very surprising burnt notes. Very pleasantly surprised. The alcohol is very present and could have been better integrated. I would have appreciated a little less wattage. Edit: tested with a drop of water to reduce power. I still find the weft worthy park, without a doubt. A little strange dirty side for a WP, but very pleasant. And a saline touch that I hadn't noticed initially. I think this rum would have deserved a reduction of around 50-55 to be at its best.

Jamaican, but not overly so. Very nice nose, lovely rounded mouthfeel, perfectly integrated alcohol. A linear profile from nose to mouth, no surprises, but very well done.

Getestet gegen RX8135 zwei Unterschiedliche Profile.
