"Another beautiful dinguerie! A fruity, estery, vegetal blend with a spicy, peppery background, surprising in the end, and excellent. Great mouthfeel, enjoy it dry. To sum up, my tasting notes: Nose: Sugarcane, Ester, Fruity, Olive On the palate: Ester, Vegetal, Mango, Peppery Finish: Ester".

#4131 This is an exciting mix to say the least and it does pretty well. A very fresh and fruity rum with a mix of green notes and some Jamaica. There is a light note if sake in the profile and I like sake 🙂 Price to quality is very good in my mind.

A blend that works superbly! Very good balance between the 2 provenances 1/4 hampden and the rest Grogue. On the nose, the esters have the upper hand, especially near the glass, but a sweet freshness comes to the fore afterwards. On the palate, the attack is pleasantly sweet, with Esters but under control, I'd say that the Grogne contains the ardor of the hampden well. The finish is long, with vegetal and mineral notes, before switching back to fruity esters.

Very good rum, bought for €41.10. First Famille Ricci and not disappointed. Nose: predominance of esters, grass, sugar cane and fruity. Palate: tropical fruits, intense between pepper and esters on the first sip, on the second sip it is fresh and goes down easily. Finish: light and medium duration on tropical fruits, pepper and ester. Empty glass: tropical fruits and ester.

Tasted at SoRhum in Bordeaux. The nose is surprising. It alternates between grogue and Jamaican. Pleasant. Cane and ripe fruit. Herbs and esters. The blend and association also work on the palate. The two origins blend well. Very nice. Edit: Tasted again at RhumFest 2024 and impression confirmed. This is clearly the most enjoyable of the three.

Nose around esters, ripe banana, olives. The taste is quite special - less banana, very long, alcohol is quite strong. Interesting curiosity !

A very interesting rum, which makes me want to use it with a baba dessert or flambé. Nose of very ripe banana, even plantain banana. A bit of olive. No trace of alcohol. Nice attack, banana complemented by a hint of acidity from olive brine. Cane. Very nice length for a white rum.
