Most helpful positive review
I have visited Mauritius many times and love their well executed rums, a good example being those of Chamarel. This cask shows Medine’s abilities with sherry maturation, which created a uniquely balanced and complex rum. Definitely not the standard profile for an Agricole rum, which makes it more interesting. Funky enough to be interested for more, refined enough to sip slowly and savor. Slainte.
