A medium sweet rum with a light touch of wood. The fruits, spices and caramel put a nice backbone into this rum. Unfortunately the price, when compared to the 15 year old, is a bit steep.

Even slightly better than 15y &18y but a little medicinal and roasty on the finish. For 40% it could be a little milder and less spicy. Certainly works well with a cigar, pure it's a bit too boring for me...

A nice, very harmonious rum. It’s rather sweet and not overcomplex. It tastes very soft and hardly at all alcoholic. I found the nose weak and slightly biting.

Spice! Nose just a gentle pre-smell; tongue then the spice-wood hammer, everything included: chocolate, coffee, vanilla, ... a bit of alc, but great, very complex
