Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 This is a retaste of the Danish release and it's still really good. ----------------------- Another great rum from Martinique with good complexity all in all a perfect rum.

Day trip Baltrum September 2024 A Clement Rare Cask Collection (Denmark 2002) (sample from Saibot Ztar). To finish this series with a real knockout. Nose consists of chocolate, coffee, tobacco and cask. On the palate the wood is also well recognizable, plus coffee, chocolate and licorice. Bomb.

unusually fruity for an Agricole on the nose. There is a hint of star fruit and kumquat, plus a nice Nutella note and a minty, herbal freshness. Cherry wood, caramel, tobacco and nutmeg on the palate. The finish is rather dry...I really like it!

Wow, a great nose! Vegetal fresh, spicy, dried fruits and a hint of cookie dough. Perfectly blended and balanced. Reminds me a bit of the Chantal Comte 2006. On the mouth then sour and spicy. The finish at the beginning similar and after half a minute it becomes very nice (spicy, caramel, dried fruits). A great Agricole! Thanks to Bonn for this great sample!😀😀😀

Another very good Clement Rare Cask... the nose is very floral fruity with a delicate hint of chocolate and vanilla. On the palate it is elegantly spicy, gently woody with delicate chocolate. Soft and lightly caresses the palate... continues like this on the finish! Top 👍🏻

Once again a very tasty Clement Rare Cask. Nose Very fruity orange, currants, kiwi. Honey, blossoms, a bit of clove, licorice... generally spicy. Incredibly harmonious and no sharpness. Palate Slightly oily in the mouth. Alcohol very well integrated. Nice fruity... also a bit of orange and dark berries here. The floral notes almost merge with the spice and fruitiness... a bit of chocolate, licorice and slight bitterness on the finish. Once again a bullseye... at least for me 🤗🥃

Overall a really nice Clément but it feels kind of unbalanced to me. It is way too dry and wood driven so that the dried fruits can’t really shine betweens the heavy spices. The nose is really pleasant with some flowers, fruits, wood and a nice freshness. The palate reminds me of an old Cognac with its grapes, vanilla and wood. The finish is the part is dislike the most, here it is just too much wood and a bitterness silencing everything else. So it seems that keeping on drinking is the solution here, just skip the finish.

Tasting date 19.08.2026 RX1597 Clément DK 2002 Nose: Dried fruits, floral and balanced oak, light herbal and minty notes. Cookey dough, light fruity acid. Mouth: Dried apricots and dates, chocolate, elegant spiced notes like vanilla, white pepper, balanced wood. Burnt orange peels, light licorice. Nicely oily texture. Residual taste: Burnt orange peels, and dried fruits. Balanced wooden bitterness. Overwhelming spiced with vanilla, anise and clove, ginger, and licorice. Very long and beautiful spiced residual taste. Light fine cask / wooden balance. The glass: Spiced and oaky. Tasting “In the cave”

And finally another solid banger from Clement, who impresses again with chocolate and roasted coffee. These old Clements really have something going on. I really like it, even if the mouthfeel sometimes comes across as too dry, bitter and harsh. I didn't find it too sharp though.

To finish the Clement series, got this beast. Alcohol is super well integrated. On the nose, some chocolate but also currants can be recognized. On the palate, also slightly oily. Definitely recommended.

Very intense cask influence, which for me is just right. I find the nose really complex. There is a lot to discover. On the palate then the strong cask influence with dark aromas like coffee, chocolate and pepper. Nice warmth. I really like it. Great Agricole.

This is an unbelievably round rum. Super complex with a finish of cherry and orange peel. This absolutely blew me away. This is one of the top rums I’ve tried so far. Mellow but complex with little hits of spice. Really enjoy.
